Low Fin tube is a fin tube obtained through plastic cold deformation. The method consists in realizing, from a smooth tube, fins with a particular geometric form without removing material; this plastic deformation causes an increment of heat exchange efficiency, and allows to reduce the heat exchanger size. Low fin tube forms short fins in tube wall that greatly increases the surface area over the base tube. The fins are Integral formed into the base tube wall so the outside diameter of the fins are not larger than the base tube. The low fin tubes have an extended surface on the outside of the tube increasing the efficiency of the heat exchanger. The low finned tubes are an indispensable part in their production. 优势
Low Fin Tube provides 3 times the external surface area of the bare tube, which is helpful for the dropping of the cold condensate at the bottom of the tube, reducing the liquid film and thermal resistance and improving the heat transfer efficiency. Low fin tubes has many benefits for shell and tube heat exchangers, like reducing size and cost, increasing performance of equipments. The cost of shell and tube heat exchangers can be reduced up to 50% through the use of low fin tubes.
制造工艺:
The Base Tube and Fins are made in same material. After rolling process, the outer surface of tube is formed with thread, which makes the fin tube have a higher heat transfer capacity.
