ASTM A270 specification is covering the grade of welded， seamless austenitic/ferrite and heavily cold worked welded SS sanitary tubing. Those are intended for use in the food industry， dairy industry and are also having special surface finishes.
A270 TP316L sanitary stainless pipe works well in elevated pressure applications and showcases enhanced strength allowing it to be very robust in harsh environments. The pipes are also tolerant to pitting by acids and crevice corrosion in the system.
