一般双相不锈钢信息
2205 是应用最广泛的双相（铁素体/奥氏体）不锈钢牌号。它具有优异的耐腐蚀性和高强度，因此应用广泛。多年来，许多钢材供应商对标准双相不锈钢 S31803 的成分进行了改进，最终限制了其成分范围，并于 1996 年将其命名为 UNS S32205。双相 S32205 具有更好的耐腐蚀性，但目前生产的大部分双相 S31803 也符合双相 S32205 标准。2205 通常不适合在 300ºC 以上的温度下使用，因为它会析出脆性微成分，也不适合在 -50ºC 以下的温度下使用，因为它会发生韧性到脆性的转变。
双相耐腐蚀性

双相耐热性
尽管 2205 具有良好的高温抗氧化性，但与其他双相不锈钢一样，如果在 300ºC 以上的温度下保持较短时间，该钢种也会发生脆化。如果发生脆化，只能通过全溶退火处理来纠正。双相不锈钢的使用温度几乎从未超过 300ºC。

固溶处理（退火）--加热至 1020ºC-1100ºC 并迅速冷却。该牌号不能通过热处理硬化，但可以通过加工硬化。
