What is 304L stainless steel?
304L stainless steel， also known as ultra-low carbon stainless steel， is a versatile stainless steel material that is widely used to make equipment and parts that require good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and formability).
304L 是 304 不锈钢的变种，含碳量较低，用于需要焊接的场合。较低的碳含量可最大限度地减少焊缝附近热影响区碳化物的析出，而碳化物的析出可能会导致不锈钢在某些环境下产生晶间腐蚀（焊接侵蚀）。
304L 不锈钢的锻造性能较差，不易变形。
由于加工硬化。因此芯棒拉拔过程中的变形量不能太大。而且热量损失大。因此，必须在多次加热的情况下才能成型。如果高温保温阶段处理不当，就会产生粗大结晶。
