What Is ASTM A182 F304 ?
ASTM A182 F304 is the standard "18/8" stainless steel; it is the most versatile stainless steel and is available in a wider range of products， forms and finishes than any other stainless steel. It has excellent forming and welding properties. The balanced austenitic structure of Grade 304 allows it to be severely deep drawn without intermediate annealing， which makes this grade dominant in the manufacture of drawn stainless steel parts such as sinks， hollowware and cookware. For these applications， a special variant of "304DDQ" (deep drawing quality) is often used.
Grade 304 can easily be braked or rolled into a variety of parts for industrial， construction and transport applications. grade 304 also has excellent welding properties. Post-weld annealing is not required when welding thin parts.
