Monel400 alloy (UNS N04400,2.4360) is a single-phase solid solution Ni-Cu alloy based on nickel, which can withstand various corrosive environments and has good ductility.It has good corrosion resistance in many media environments. From a slight oxidizing medium environment to a neutral environment to a suitable reducing environment, it has good corrosion resistance. It has a long history as a corrosion-resistant material.Monel400 alloy is also used in underwater environments and non-oxidizing chloride solutions.
 
Monel 400 Features:
Monel400 is a kind of corrosion resistant alloy with large amount, wide application and excellent comprehensive properties. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium, and also has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated lye. At the same time, it is also resistant to corrosion of neutral solution, water, seawater, atmosphere, organic compounds, etc. An important feature of the alloy is that it generally does not produce stress corrosion cracks and has good cutting performance.
 

耐腐蚀性:
The corrosion resistance of Monel400 is generally better than nickel copper, it is more resistant to the corrosion of reducing media than pure nickel, and is more resistant to the corrosion of oxidation media than pure copper, and has very good corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and carbon. In particular, it is resistant to the corrosion of hydrochloric acid and has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkali. Monel400 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in fluorine gas, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid and their derivatives. At the same time, it is more resistant to corrosion in seawater than copper-based alloys. Monel400 is a deformable nickel-copper nickel-based alloy with good seawater corrosion resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and strong resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. This alloy is one of the few alloys that can be used in fluoride. It has good oxide resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium
