ASTM A335 P9 Seamless Ferritic Alloy-Steel Pipes are designed to cover nominal (average) wall seamless alloy-steel pipes meant for high-temperature applications.
A335 P9 belongs to the high-temperature chromium-molybdenum alloy heat-resistant steel category. With excellent oxidation resistance， high-temperature strength， and resistance to sulfide corrosion， A335 P9 finds extensive usage in high-temperature， high-pressure， flammable， and explosive pipelines within petroleum refining and chemical equipment sectors， particularly in the direct heating pipes of heating furnaces. The operating temperature can range between 550-600 ℃.
