What is corrugated fin tubes?

A corrugated fin tube has flat plate sections with lateral sides facing each other and end sides facing each other with joining sections connecting with lateral sides of the flat plate sections. The pattern on a corrugated fin looks like a zigzag line or repeating “w” when viewed from the side.

Meanwhile, the thick wall tubes and smaller diameter tubes of bigger diameters are provided as cold drawn and after that they are being heat treated.

 

The corrugated fin tube is a new type of high-efficiency heat exchange tubes which replaces the bare tube. It has the advantages of strong corrosion resistance, longer life, no pitting, and low price.

 

The stainless steel corrugated fin tube is made of high-quality stainless steel, which has resistant to corrosion. The more important thing is the special internal and external waveforms of the corrugated tubes. The turbulent medium constantly washes the inner and outer surfaces of the tube, which makes it difficult to foul. The corrugated fin tube is a flexible element. The curvature of each part of the corrugated tubes changes continuously after being affected by the temperature difference during the working process. Although the deformation caused by this curvature change is not very large, the linear expansion coefficient of the dirt and the metal corrugated fin tube is very different. So there will be a large pull-off force between the dirt and the corrugated tube surface, which is enough to make the dirt fall off to realize automatic cleaning and automatic descaling. The stress distribution is uniform, and the corrosion resistance is strong.
