Stainless Steel ASTM A312 TP347H Heat Exchangers Chemical Oil Gas
Overview
TP347H (1Cr19Ni11Nb) belongs to high-carbon niobium-containing Cr-Ni austenitic stainless steel, due to the stabilizing element Nb, its resistance to intergranular corrosion and good resistance to polysulfuric acid intergranular stress corrosion, corrosion resistance in acid, alkali, salt and other corrosive media and its line of corrosion resistance is similar to the 18-8 austenitic stainless steel with Ti, so it is widely used in the boiler, power generation, petroleum, chemical, synthetic fiber, food, Paper and other industries. Used in large boiler superheater tube, reheater tube, steam pipe and petrochemical heat exchanger.

What is 347H ?
347H is a high carbon version of alloy 347. 347H stainless steel tubing has higher creep resistance and can operate at high temperatures and pressures. The higher carbon content of 0.04-0.10% makes this grade double certified. 347H stainless steel tubing is stabilized to provide good protection against corrosion. It also has good oxidation resistance, similar to other austenitic steels. 347H stainless steel pipe is used for heavy-duty welded materials, where annealing is not possible. Stainless steel 1.4961 tubes are widely used in cabin heaters, aircraft exhaust, oil and gas refining systems, heat exchanger tubes, boiler tubes for casings, etc.
