Description
TP347H (1Cr19Ni11Nb) is a high carbon niobium containing Cr-Ni austenitic stainless steel， due to the stabilization element Nb， its intergranular corrosion resistance and polysulfuric acid intergranular stress corrosion resistance is good， in acid， alkali， salt and other corrosive media， its corrosion resistance is similar to the 18-8 austenitic stainless steel containing Ti. Therefore， it is widely used in boiler， power generation， petroleum， chemical industry， synthetic fiber， food， paper and other industries. Because Nb is less prone to burn than Ti， this steel can also be used as the welding core of chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel. This steel has higher high temperature strength and better resistance to high temperature oxidation than 316 series， so it is often used as heat strength steel.
The 347H seamless tube material is cold-drawn and therefore cannot be hardened by heat treatment. But it can be hardened by cold working. The material can also be easily welded.

Applications
