EN10305-1 E235N Seamless Cold Drawn Tubes

EN 10305 are characterized by having exactly defined tolerances on dimensions and a specified surface roughness. Typical fields of applications are in the furniture, vehicle and general engineering industries. BS EN 10305-3 is the standard that specified outside diameter ≤ 193,7 mm. 12 000 m tube with an outside diameter of 40 mm and a wall thickness of 1,5 mm, made of steel GR. E235 in the pickled, normalized condition, to be delivered in standard length of 6 m in accordance with EN 10204.12 000 m tubes – 40 x 1,5 – EN 10305-3 – E235+N, S2 – 6 m in standard length. EN 10305-4 allowed pressure rating and upper temperatures are the responsibility of the clients in application of the safety coefficients specified in the applicable codes, regulations or standards. Concerning the low temperature range relevant to the impact energy requirements are given at 0°C.
The advantage of steel tubes designed for precision applications is their high precision with which they are manufactured, the good quality of their surface, a wide selection of dimensions and guaranteed mechanical and technological properties. It is for those reasons that the pipes are widely used in the mechanical engineering industry and in the automotive industry. Pipes for precision applications are manufactured as cold drawn pipes.
