Overwiew
ASME SA403 SS 304L butt weld fittings have good welding characteristics and can be welded by all standard methods， but care needs to be taken to avoid "hot cracking" of the weld. In ASTM A403 SUS 304L stainless steel pipe fittings， annealing can be performed after welding to eliminate stresses during severe forming or spinning. Also， these are known as WNR 1.4306 fittings and A240 UNS S30403 butt weld fittings.
