B16.5 ASTM A105 A105N Carbon Steel Flange Class 150 #Class 300 ANSI 150 RF 6" So Flange SO WN Flange Oil and Gas
What is A105 flange?
ASTM A105 is the most generally utilized carbon steel material grade that used to manufacture forge piping components, for example, flange and forged fittings of small diameter piping. This carbon steel material grade is utilized for ambient and higher-temperature administration in pressure frameworks.
Carbon steel A105 flanges covers seamless forged carbon steel piping components for use in pressure systems at high-temperature service and ambient.Heat treatment is not a compulsory for asmesa 105 flange material except for above Class 300, flanges of special design where the design pressure or design temperature are not known and for items over 4” NPS and above Class 300.
A105 blind flange is forged between 1700°F to 2200°F, followed by quenching and tempering.
