ASTM B729 specifications is typically supplied in a stable annealed condition. As one of the foremost manufacturers of Alloy 20 pipe, we recommend these pipes for those applications that are susceptible to pitting and chloride ion corrosion. In fact, we strongly recommend the use of Alloy 20 welded pipe in those areas where 316 grade alloys are susceptible to stress related corrosion cracking.
