ASTM B366 / ASME SB366 INCONEL 625 / UNS N06625 / DIN 2.4856 CAP NICKEL ALLOY BUTT WELD FITTING
Overview:
An Inconel 625 cap is a pipe fitting used to cover the end of a pipe. Inconel 625 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of corrosive environments. It is particularly useful in applications where high strength and resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids are required. The cap is typically welded onto the end of the pipe to provide a permanent seal that prevents leaks or contaminants from entering the pipe. Inconel 625 caps are commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, aerospace, and marine engineering.
