ASTM B167 UNS N06601 Nickel Alloy for Oil & Gas Project

TONG CHUANG Group, one of the leading suppliers in China,we supply nickel alloy and tubes with high quality to our customers and we have many experiences in exporting. This page talked about alloy 601, it is commonly referred to by the tradename Inconel 601 and the universal designation UNS N06601 and it offers good corrosion resistance in many media with superior oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures.

ASTM B167 This specification covers nickel-chromium-iron alloys (UNS N06600, N06601, N06603, N06690, N06693, N06025, and N06045) and nickel-chromium-cobaltmolybdenum alloy (UNS N06617) in cold-worked annealed, hot-worked annealed, and hot-finished and tube intended for general corrosion resistant and heat resistant applications.

Distinctive Characteristic

Workablity

Alloy 601 has good hot and cold workability in the annealed condition.

Corrosion Resistance

Alloy 601 has outstanding corrosion resistance imparted by the dual corrosion fighting power of chromium and nickel.

Elevated Temperature Resistance

Alloy 601 provides excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 2200°F.

Inconel 601's properties make it a material of broad utility in fields like thermal processing, chemical processing, pollution control, aerospace, and power generation.
