ASTM B163 SMLS Nickel Alloy NO2200 Boiler Tubes
TONG CHUANG Group offers ASTM B163 / ASME SB163 NO2200 SMLS nickel alloy steel tubes and we sell these tubes in more than 70 countries up to now. This specification covers seamless tubes of nickel and nickel alloys, for use in condenser and heat-exchanger service.
The Nickel alloy UNS NO2200 is a multifunctional and extremely important metal material. It is widely used in industry because of its good strength and ductility. In addition to forming valuable alloys with other metals, pure nickel can be used as corrosion-resistant structural materials and functional materials due to its good characteristics.
Advantages
Highly resistant to various reducing chemicals
Excellent resistance to caustic alkalies
High electrical conductivity
Excellent corrosion resistance to distilled and natural waters
Resistance to neutral and alkaline salt solutions
Excellent resistance to dry fluorine
Widely used to handle caustic soda
Good thermal, electrical and magnetostrictive properties
Offers some resistance to hydrochloric acids and sulfuric acids at modest temperatures and concentrations

Rockwell or equivalent hardness values apply only to the annealed ends of stress-relieved tubing. Caution should be observed in using the Rockwell test on thin material, as the results may be affected by the thickness of specimen. For thickness under 0.050 in. (1.27 mm) the use of the Rockwell superficial or the Vickers hardness test is suggested.
