ASME SB111 UNS 70600, Copper Nickel 90/10, Low Fin Tubes have excellent overall strength corrosion resistance, high ductility, good toughness, excellent resistance to stress corrosion, good erosion, excellent fabrication and welding properties. Copper Nickel 90/10 Low FinTubes are used in various applications like marine systems, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industries, and shipbuilding equipments. They are also widely used for handling seawater in all types of heat exchanger and cooling plant.

 

ASTM B111 UNS C70600 O61 Copper Nickel Alloy Low Fin Tubes are made to form fins with a certain height, distance and thickness on the outer surface of the base tube. Copper nickel low fin tubes are mostly used as heat exchanger elements and evaporators. Using integral low fin tube is developed as a method of increasing heat transfer performance of fluids while minimizing the size also cost of the heat exchanger. The low fin tubes improve the thermal performance of a heat exchanger without changing shell’s size, flow arrangement or re-positioning of tubes. The external surface of the tube is increased by the formation of "low fins".
