TONG CHUANG GROUP, we supply ASTM B111 C70600 Copper Nickel in various sizes. Widely used in marine applications due to its excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, low macrofouling rates, and good processability.
C70600 (C706) and C71500 (C715), copper-nickel has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine brine environments. The main wrought copper-nickel alloys for seawater service contain 10% or 30% nickel. They also have important additions of iron and manganese, which are necessary for good corrosion resistance. Some of the main uses for C706 include copper-nickel fittings and condenser and exchanger housings.
C70600 copper-nickel 10% alloy for applications where corrosion and stress crack resistance are important. C70600 copper-nickel 10% alloy is known for its moderate strength, weldability and formability.
C70600 Cupronickel is a copper alloy further classified as cupronickel. CW352H is the EN number designation for this material. C70600 is the UNS number. Additionally, the EN chemical name is CuNi10Fe1Mn. The British Standard (BS) name is CN102. The trade name is Cupronickel 90/10.
