HFW solid finned tube is the abbreviation of high frequency welding spiral solid finned tube
Spiral finned tubes provide designers with high thermal efficiency and compact design solutions, and are suitable for a full range of heat exchangers that use clean flue gas. There are two types of spiral finned tubes: solid type and serrated type.
The spiral solid fin tube is manufactured by spirally winding a continuous fin tape on the tube. High frequency resistance welding usually uses a frequency of 400 kHz. The fins are wound on the tube and continuously welded. The fin belt is spirally wound on the tube, and is continuously welded to the base tube along the root of the spiral through a high-frequency electrical process. The fin strips are held under tension and are laterally restrained as they are formed around the tube, thereby ensuring strong contact between the fin strips and the surface of the base tube. Using the gas metal arc welding process, continuous welding is performed at the point where the fin strip first begins to bend around the pipe diameter.
