ASTM A335 Gr. P9 Alloy Steel Tube With 11Cr Fins, Serrated Finned Tubes For Fire Furnace
ASTM A335 Gr.P9 is a specification for seamless ferritic alloy-steel pipe designed for high-temperature service. It is widely used in power plants, refineries, and other high temperature and high pressure applications. The Gr.P9 composition offers excellent resistance to oxidation and high-temperature strength. A fin tube is a heat transfer surface consisting of a base tube with fins wrapped around its outer surface. The fins increase the surface area of the tube, facilitating enhanced heat transfer.
The ASTM A335 Gr.P9 is composed of chemical composition of 8-10% chromium, 0.25-1% silicon and 0.9-1.1% molybdenum. It also has small amoun of carbon, manganese, phosphorous, and sulfur. The A335 P9 material is highly corrosion and oxidation resistant. They perform well under extreme pressures and high temperatures. The ASTM A335 Gr.P9 Alloy is suitable for bending, flanging, and all forming operations.
