253MA, also known as UNS S30815, is a high-temperature austenitic stainless steel alloy that provides good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. It contains relatively high levels of both chromium and nickel, along with additions of nitrogen and manganese, to enhance its high-temperature capabilities. The alloy also exhibits good creep strength and structural stability at high temperatures, making it a valuable material in challenging operating conditions.
