Description
Grade 321 stainless steel belongs to the austenitic class 300 series. Like most of the 300 series stainless steel alloys, the JIS SUS 321 black bar has multiple mechanical and corrosion resistance properties. The chemistry of this alloy is similar to grade 304, with the only difference that alloy 321 stainless steel round bar has been stabilized with the addition of titanium in its alloy. Adding titanium in any alloy is beneficial, particularly if the alloy has to undergo welding operations.
SS 321 is an austenitic grade of stainless steel. The Stainless Steel 321 Round Bar is designed with a chemical composition consisting of chromium and nickel with titanium acting as the stabilizing agent. The versatile 321 Stainless Steel Hollow Bar is produced by passing hot steel billets through them or welding them in place. These bars showcase excellent tolerance to corrosive reducers in volatile conditions. 1.4541 Forged Round Bar is manufactured via the forging process and showcases good impact strength, and is dimensionally accurate. The high-strength AMS 5510 Bar can function in temperatures ranging between 538 to 870 degrees C. Designed with a uniform cross-sectional area, the items can be easily welded in place following standard welding procedures. SS 321 Bar showcases a minimum tensile strength of 515mpa with a minimum yield strength of 205mpa. These bars can be easily elongated by 35% and still possess excellent workability. AISI 321 Stainless Steel Cold Rolled Bar is processed further after the initial stage to give it enhanced strength and superior surface finish. The non-pressurized ASTM A276 UNS S32100 Bar has a melting point of 1454 degrees C. These bars can be customized in an array of shapes and sizes to meet different project requirements.
The ASTM A276 SS 321h Rod is a higher carbon version grade that is designed with superior strength. This allows it to provide good support and stability than normal SS321 grade rods; however, their welding performance is very low. 321H Stainless Steel Rectangle Bar is designed with a rectangular cross sectional area. The flat bars are lightweight and are used in different structural applications. The SS 321H Black Bar is a type of finish that adds an aesthetical appeal to the grade. These bars are generally utilized in applications where the shape and tolerance requirements are not precise.
