This specification covers nominal-wall-thickness welded tubes and heavily cold worked welded tubes made from the austenitic steels, with various grades intended for such use as boiler, superheater, heat exchanger, or condenser tubes.
TP321 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance in organic and inorganic acids with different concentrations and temperatures, especially in oxidizing media.Its performance is very similar to 304, but due to the addition of metal titanium, it has better grain boundary corrosion resistance and high temperature strength.
Also, it has excellent high temperature stress, breaking performance, high temperature creep resistance and stress mechanical properties, and is suitable for welding components used at high temperatures.
