ASTM A179 Tube 16mm Height AL1060 Fin Embedded Finned Tube for Highly Corrosive Systems
ASTM A179 Seamless Steel Tubes are supplied and produced by cold drawing method. The chemical composition includes carbon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur.
SA179 steel tubes contain the corresponding measurements: ASTM A179/ASME SA179 Seamless Steel Tubes – hot rolled or cold drawn in sequence, with outside diameters from 1/4" NB to 2" NB (nominal bore), thicknesses from 1 mm to 8 mm separating thicknesses, lengths of 5800 mm/6000 mm/6096 mm/7315 mm/11800 mm, etc., and maximum lengths of 27000 mm with plain/beveled ends/fittings. 27000 mm with plain/beveled ends/fittings.A179 Seamless Cold Drawn Mild Steel Heat Exchanger and Condenser Tubes are certified and tested for impact test, heat treatment, hardness test, flattening test, reverse flattening test, flanging test, hydrostatic pressure test.

G Type Embedded Spiral Finned Tube
G-type embedded spiral finned tube is made by machining a steel strip of a certain width and depth of spiral groove on the steel pipe, and then the steel strip is set on the steel pipe by equipment. During the winding process, the steel band will be firmly wound in the spiral groove because the preload force reaches a certain level to ensure a certain contact area between the steel band and the steel tube. In order to prevent the steel belt spring from falling off from the optical tube, both ends of the steel belt need to be welded to the steel tube. In order to facilitate the setting, there should be a certain gap between the steel belt and the spiral groove. If the gap is too small, the commissioning process will be difficult to proceed smoothly.
In addition, there will always be a certain amount of springback in the wound steel strip, which prevents a good bond between the strip and the bottom of the spiral groove. Inlaying fins can be done on general equipment and at a very low cost. Our company adopts advanced production equipment in McElroy Company in the U.S.A.
