Low finned tubes have finning that runs the length of the tube with low height fins, which significantly increases the surface area available for heat exchange without greatly increasing pressure drop. The increased surface area provided by the fins on low finned tubes enhances heat transfer efficiency, making them particularly effective in applications where compact heat exchangers are required.
