ASTM 163 Incoloy 825 Nickel Alloy Steel Fin Tube G Type Fin For Super Heater
Incoloy825 is suitable for use in highly corrosive environments. Nickel content is sufficient to resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Nickel, together with molybdenum and copper, is resistant to reducing acids, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid solutions and seawater. Molybdenum also helps to resist pitting and crevice corrosion; Due to the high content of chromium, it can resist nitric acid, nitrate, oxide salt and other oxidizing substances; Through proper heat treatment, titanium can stabilize the alloy and prevent the sensitization of intergranular corrosion
Incoloy825 Features and application areas Overview:
The alloy is a general purpose engineering alloy with high resistance to alkali metal corrosion in both yang and reduction environments. The nickel composition makes the alloy have effective resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Corrosion resistance in various media is good, such as, phosphorus, nitrate and organic, alkali metals such as sodium qIngyang, potassium qIngyang and salt solutions. The comprehensive properties of the alloy are shown in a nuclear combustion dissolver with a variety of corrosive media, such as nitro and sodium qIngyang, which are all processed in the same facility. It is used in various industrial fields where the use temperature does not exceed 550℃, such as: Heating tubes, containers, baskets and chains for washing plants, seawater cooling heat exchangers, Marine product piping systems, gas environment pipelines, heat exchangers in phosphorus production, evaporators, washing, impregnation pipes, air heat exchangers in petroleum refining, food engineering, chemical processes, flame retardant alloys for high pressure yang gas applications, etc.
Incoloy825 Process properties and requirements:
1. the alloy heating environment contains liu, phosphorus, lead or other low melting point metals, Nicrofer 6023/6023H alloy will become brittle. Impurities come from marked paint, chalk, lubricating oil, water, fuel, etc. The liu content of fuels should be low, such as the impurity content of liquefied gas and natural gas should be less than 0.1%, the liu content of city gas should be less than 0.25g/m3, and the liu content of LPG is less than 0.5%.
2. the alloy suitable hot working temperature is 1150-900℃, the cooling method can be water quenching or rapid air cooling.
3. tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual subarc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, MIG shielded welding, of which pulsed arc welding is the best solution
