Overview

 

The stud fin tube (nail head tube / needle shaped tube) is a cylindrical needle arranged in a square or hexagonal shape and welded evenly on the surface of the heat exchange tube. An efficient and energy-saving needle tube heat exchange tube group is composed of four square or hexagonal reinforced heat exchange nail head tubes assembled and welded.
Because the needle rib of the stud fin tube is a cantilever structure with a compact structure, it oscillates under the impact of airflow, making it difficult for the soot to accumulate. Combined with the intense turbulent erosion of flue gas, the heat transfer efficiency of the stud fin tube heat exchange element is high, and it has strong self cleaning ability.
In the petrochemical industry, stud fin tubes are widely used. Especially in the convection chamber of a tubular heating furnace, in order to enhance the heat transfer effect outside the tube, heat transfer components often use stud fin tubes. The stud fin tube can improve the heat transfer coefficient of the flue gas side, and the stud fin tube area is 2-3 times that of the bare tube. Because of the application of the stud fin tube, the same heat intensity as the radiation can be obtained under the condition of reasonable design.

 

 

Application of Stud Fin Tube

 

The application of Stud Fin Tube in convection chamber of heating furnace in petrochemical industry and other industries can improve the heat transfer coefficient at the flue gas side. The area of Stud Fin Tube is 2-3 times that of bare tube. Because of the application of nail tube, the same heat intensity as radiation can be obtained under reasonable design

 

 

Welding method of Stud Fin Tube

 

Stud Fin Tube equipment adopts resistance welding method, and the welding process is controlled by PLC program. The feed motor and indexing motor are controlled by brake motor. The human-machine interface can set the number of nail heads, indexing parameters, and compensation coefficient, and ensure product quality and accuracy according to process requirements
