Material Notes: Applications include low-strength fasteners, die pins, motor spindles, and recessed-head screws. Post water quenched hardness: 41 HRC surface, 95 HRB half-radius, 92 HRB center. Normalized at 925°C in 32 mm rounds, machined to 25 mm, pseudocarburized at 925 for 8 hours, oil quenched, 150°C temper.
