Alloy Steel ASTM A234 WP9 90 Degree SR Elbow ANSI B16.9 Buttweld Fitting
TONG CHUANG GROUP is engaged in manufacturing of a wide range of Butt Weld Fitting that is available in varied types such as L/R & S/R elbow, tee, concentric and eccentric reducers, reducing elbow & tee, cross and caps.
The ASTM A234 is a standard of pipe fitting material and WP9 is the grade. This material standard indicates that the fittings consist of various carbon steel and alloy steel. Different types of pipe fittings are available under this specification like reducer, tees, couplings, caps, etc., and each of them have varied functions. One can get seamless and welded variants of the ASTM A234 WP9 pipe fittings.
The seamless ones are manufactured from the A335 P9 steel pipes, whereas the welded fittings are produced either from steel plates or welded pipes. It follows the “wrought” manufacturing process which means that the fittings are either casted or forged. The small sized fittings are usually made from the steel plates, whereas the fittings of larger dimensions are manufactured in single pieces and then they are welded together.
