ASTM A815 S31803 Duplex Stainless Steel Seamless Tee Pipe Fitting B16.9
ASTM A815A815M-2001 Standard for Malleable Ferritic, Ferritic Austenitic, and Martensitic Stainless Steel Pipe fittings
S31803 belongs to duplex stainless steel. 22% chromium duplex (austenitic/ferritic) steel (2205 type), with moderate to high strength and good resistance to common corrosion/stress, corrosion/cracking.
This alloy has the ability to withstand chloride environments and sulfide stress corrosion, and its strength is approximately twice that of standard austenitic stainless steel. When higher mechanical strength/lighter weight is required, this alloy can be successfully used as a substitute for 300 series austenitic stainless steel. F51 is easy to use with many standard arc welding equipment for welding, but it is not recommended for oxygen and ethylene block welding because there may be carbonization of the welding metal.
S31803 duplex stainless steel is a kind of material with both ferrite and austenitic structure, its material performance is stable, has good corrosion resistance, strength and welding performance, and is widely used in petrochemical, Marine engineering, automobile, medical equipment and other fields.
S31803 duplex stainless steel pipe fittings have the following advantages:
1. It has good corrosion resistance and can operate safely in Marine environment, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and other media.
2. With excellent strength and toughness, it can withstand high temperature and high pressure and impact load, greatly improving the safety and reliability of the pipeline system.
3. It has good processing performance and welding performance, which is convenient for processing and assembly in the production process.
4. It has good environmental performance and can greatly reduce production costs and environmental pollution.
