What Is 904L Stainless Steel Buttweld Fittings ?
WP904L Stainless steel, also known as UNS N08904, is a high resistance corrosion steel and it’s an Austenitic Stainless Steel with superior resistance as compare to the type or WP316L and WP317L. Due to addition of some elements this material displays a brilliant corrosion resistance against reducing acids such as sulfuric acids.
With its highly alloyed chemistry and the addition of about 25% nickel and 4.5% molybdenum, 904L Stainless Steel Butt Weld Elbow provides excellent chloride ion stress related corrosion cracking resistance, pitting and general corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance property of the SS WP904L Elbow is more superior in comparison to 316L and 317L molybdenum enhanced stainless steels.
