ASTM A815 specifications cover two broad categories: wrought ferritic， ferritic/austenitic and martensitic stainless steel fittings of WP and CR， seamless and welded construction. WP grade pipe fittings are divided into four subcategories: WP-S， WP-W， WP-WX and WP-WU. Fitting materials shall include forgings， rods， plates， or seamless or welded tubing.
The ASTM A815 specification covers two broad categories: WP and CR， with the latest revision， A960/A960M， covering wrought ferritic， ferritic/austenitic and martensitic stainless steel fittings of seamless and welded construction. Fittings that differ from these standards may be supplied in accordance with Supplementary Requirement S58 of Specifications A960/A960M. Class CR fittings are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of MSS SP-43 and shall have a pressure rating compatible with 13.3. This specification does not apply to cast accessories.
