ASTM A335 P9 Seamless Ferritic Alloy Steel Pipe For High Temperature Service
Alloy Steel contains substantial quantities of elements other than carbon, such as chromium, silicon, nickel, manganese, molybdenum, tungsten, and vanadium, along with limited amounts of other commonly accepted elements like sulphur, phosphorus, and additional manganese and silicon. The addition of these alloying elements is typically aimed at enhancing the hardness, strength, and chemical resistance of the final product.
ASTM A335 Alloy Steel are available in grades: P5, P9, P11, P22, and P91.
These pipes are IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations) and NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) approved, ensuring high quality and reliability.
Alloy Steel, compliant with IBR, are crafted from alloy steel and exhibit exceptional performance characteristics. They are designed for energy-related applications in oil & gas drilling, where machine parts endure significant stresses. Additionally, Alloy Steel Tubes find applications in domestic, professional, and industrial settings.

ASTM A335 P9 Seamless Ferritic Alloy-Steel Pipes are designed to cover nominal (average) wall seamless alloy-steel pipes meant for high-temperature applications.
A335 P9 belongs to the high-temperature chromium-molybdenum alloy heat-resistant steel category. With excellent oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength, and resistance to sulfide corrosion, A335 P9 finds extensive usage in high-temperature, high-pressure, flammable, and explosive pipelines within petroleum refining and chemical equipment sectors, particularly in the direct heating pipes of heating furnaces. The operating temperature can range between 550-600 ℃.
