ASTM A790 UNS S32750 ( 1.4410 ) SUPER DUPLEX Stainless Steel
ASTM A790 UNS S32750 is a Super duplex stainless steel with 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel material for seamless and welded pipes in duplex stainless steel alloy for general corrosive service, with particular emphasis on resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) , designed for demanding applications which require exceptional strength and corrosion resistance, such as chemical process, petrochemical, and seawater equipment. The steel has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high thermal conductivity, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion.
Super Duplex 2507 offers greater corrosion resistance as well as increased strength as compared to the Duplex version, especially because of the presence of additional molybdenum, chromium and nitrogen content. We have Super Duplex S32750 which are used in offshore platforms, heat exchangers mechanical and structural components along with other seawater piping and chemical processing industries.
