ASTM A516 Gr.70, Gr.70N Carbon Steel Stationary Tubesheet For Heat Exchanger Parts
Tubesheet is widely used in shell and tube heat exchanger, boiler, pressure vessel, steam turbine, etc. The material of metal makes it not only has strong rigidity, but also has a great deal of Heat conduction performance. ASTM A516 Gr.70+N steel is characterised by good weldability and high resistance to brittle cracking. This material is widely used for manufacturing vessels for pressurised gas, pressure vessels, steam boilers, pressure piping, compressors, etc.
Tubesheet is one of the main components of the shell and tube heat exchanger. Depending on the configuration of the tueb bundle, a heat exchanger can be equipped with one or two tubesheets. These are usually made of low carbon steel material, but depending on the applications such as petrochemical, nuclear, oil&gas, etc., the tubesheet can be made of Stainless Steel or Superalloys.
