ASTM B163/ASME SB163 UNS NO8825/DIN 2.4858/INCOLOY 825 NICKEL ALLOY SEAMLESS TUBE
Overview:
Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that offers excellent corrosion resistance in acidic and oxidizing environments. It also provides good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and pitting. Incoloy 825 is often used in chemical processing, oil and gas production, and marine environments.
Incoloy 825 seamless tubes are highly resistant to corrosion in aggressive environments, such as those containing sulfuric or phosphoric acid, as well as in seawater and brine. The tubes offer excellent mechanical properties, including high strength and toughness.
The seamless tubes are produced using advanced extrusion processes that ensure uniform wall thickness, high dimensional accuracy, and excellent surface finish. The manufacturing process supports the production of tubes in various sizes, thicknesses, and shapes, with precise tolerances.
The tubes are suitable for use in high-pressure and high-temperature applications, such as heat exchangers, condensers, and pressure vessels due to their excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation at high temperatures.
Incoloy 825 seamless tubes can be used in many different environments, including those with oxidizing and reducing acids and chlorine solutions. They are also suitable for use in harsh environments that can cause stress-corrosion cracking.
The tubes exhibit excellent resistance to impact and thermal fatigue, making them ideal for use in harsh operating conditions where there are frequent temperature changes and vibrations.
