What is finned tube?
Finned Tubes are the heart of air type heat exchangers/radiators (a kind of heat exchanger applied in hot air heating, drying, cooling or heumidifying). They are used for heat exchange in a variety of industries, such as food, electronics, petrochemical, texitle and pharmaceutical industries.
What is ASTM B111?
This specification covers seamless tube and ferrule stock of copper and various copper alloys up to 79 mm, inclusive, in diameter, for use in surface condensers, evaporators, and heat exchangers.
Copper Nickel 90/10 Tubes
This form of copper nickel tubes produced by TONG CHUANG GROUP possess excellent resistance to corrosion by sea water as well as high resistance to erosion corrosion and air-impingement attack.
The addition of iron results in 90/10 performing as good as 70/30 in salt water service heat exchangers. These tubes have good strength and ductility at ordinary temperatures and relatively high strength and other mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
Copper-nickel UNS C70600 has a copper content of not less than 88.6%.
