ASTM A179 ALuminium Carbon Steel Embeded Fin Tube For Heat Exchanger
Finned tube is a kind of heat exchange element. It is to increase the heat transfer efficiencyļ¼ usually by adding fins on the surface of the heat exchanger tube to increase the external surface area (or internal surface area) of the heat exchanger tubeļ¼ so as to achieve the purpose of improving the heat transfer efficiency.
Embeded Fin Tube
Inlaid spiral finned tubes are pre machined with spiral grooves of a certain width and depth on steel pipesļ¼ and then the steel strip is embedded on the steel pipe on a lathe. During the winding processļ¼ due to a certain amount of pre tensionļ¼ the steel strip will be tightly trapped in the spiral grooveļ¼ resulting in a certain contact area between the steel strip and the steel pipe. To prevent the steel strip from rebounding and falling offļ¼ both ends of the steel strip should be welded to the steel pipe. For ease of installationļ¼ there should be a certain side gap between the steel strip and the spiral groove. If the side gap is too smallļ¼ forming interferenceļ¼ the inlay process is difficult to proceed smoothly. In additionļ¼ the wrapped steel strip always has a certain reboundļ¼ which results in poor bonding between the steel strip and the bottom surface of the spiral groove. Inlaying fins can be done on general equipment at a low costļ¼ but the process is complex and the production efficiency is low.
