ASTM A213 T11 T22 T5 T9 T91 Welding Stud Tubes SMLS Carbon Steel Material
Description:
General H type Fin production capacity | General specifications of H type fin tubes |
Production Facility: 6 finning machines; Daily capacity up to 20 tons; | Tube OD: 73 mm max. Tube Length: 18 meters max. Fin Thickness: 1.5mm ~3.5mm Fin Pitch: 10mm Min. |
Manufacturing Process
Square or Rectangular H Fins are welded on a steel base tube. We call it H Fin Type Tubing.
Acceptance Criteria
Approved drawing and the delivery conditions (TDC) of clients.
Additional Services
Tube swaging, elbows, bends(90° / 180° or as per client's design).
Quality Tests
The Square or Rectangualr H Finned Tube quality is assured by hydrostatic or pneumatic tests, eddy current tests and tensile tests in order to verify the mechanical bonding between inner tubes and outer fins.
Surface Coating
Outside-Red oxide zinc phosphate primer and inside volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) in water soluble tablet form.
Delivery Condition: Tube ends are square cut, free burrs, internally dried and air blown clean, externally coated with varnish at both ends of Square or Rectangualr Fin Tube.
Applications:
- Economizers ,
- Heat exchangers
- Marine boilers

Competitive Advantage:
1. Corrosion resistance: Alloy steel is resistant to oxidation, rust, and corrosion. This means that the fin tubes can withstand harsh environments and remain in good condition for longer periods.
2. High strength: Alloy steel is known for its high strength and durability. This makes it an excellent choice for applications that require a robust and long-lasting product.
3. Heat resistance: Alloy steel fin tubes can withstand high heat levels, making them ideal for use in applications that involve high temperatures, such as refineries and chemical plants.
4. Improved efficiency: The use of alloy steel fin tubes can improve the efficiency of heat transfer. The fins increase the surface area of the tube, allowing for more heat to be transferred from the fluid to the tube.
5. Cost-effective: Although alloy steel fin tubes may cost more than traditional steel fin tubes, they offer a long-lasting solution that will require less maintenance and replacement over time, making them a cost-effective choice in the long run.
